The only case of actual intake/inlet thrust I have ever heard of is on the SR71 Blackbird. It has a movable cone in each of its two inlets.

"AT MACH 2.2 THE INLET PRODUCES 13% OF THE OVERALL
THRUST, THE ENGINE AND EJECTOR ACCOUNTING FOR 73%
AND 14% RESPECTIVELY"
