Interestingly, the VX was the only one that had the clutch unput line to the ecu, that's pin B7 - in my helms it's marked as D15Z1 specifically. My CX has the upshift light in the cluster, but I don't think I've seen it work, is it even enabled in those trims?
I would use the oem cruise system out of a DX or LX, whichever had cruise.
