Stop in a forested area, and make small pieces of wood of uniform size, shape, and moisture content, (below 15%) to refuel, or rebuild the engine when you get home. Gasifiers are a Big subject. In WW II, they typically got 5,000 miles between teardowns for cleaning the tar out. The cyclone trap can improve that, but not enough to run on scrap.
