OK, I'll confess.
Very old (from centuries back) Slavic names often end in '-slav' (in Polish '-sław'), which sort of means 'to praise'. For example Bogusław would mean 'He who praises God'.
There were 27 kids in my highschool class, only 10 of them boys, out of which 4 where Adams, so each had a nickname. Since my last name is Piwocki, I made up Piwosław. I'll add that 'piwo' means 'beer'. This 'Beerpraiser' nickname is quite ironic, since I hardly drink alcohol, not even beer.
EDIT: I used a Polish letter, so I hope it doesn't show up as some '&!34A4#?' type thingy. I see it ok, but I'm useing Central European character coding.
