WAI for Jag

Hi,
I've enjoyed some success with aero mods ( grille block, wheel deflectors, R mirror delete) to my car ( 2000 Jaguar S-Type, 3 liter, AT) and have been getting 28+mpg in commute driving and up to 36+mpg on long trips. As my next mod I thought I would try installing a warm air intake.
I removed the airfilter box and and removed the cold air duct from the airbox to the L wheelwell. I put a section of duct hose from the airbox to the exhaust manifold heat shield. The mod took about 25 minutes. I finally drove the car today and was curious if I would notice a change in responsiveness. I drove abour 50 miles today and didn't notice any decrease in performance. I don't have a scangauge so I don't know so far how much I have increased the temperature of the intake air. My instant MPG readout seems to indicate a slight increase in FE but I'll have to confirm this through a few refills. The modification would be very simple to reverse if it doesn't prove benefical. Time and testing will tell.
L&S
