Thundersky batteries don't seem to mind so much. They get 2000 cycles to 80% DoD, 3000 for 70%... I've been reading up a lot about them (I just bought a 48V 60Ah pack for my bike) and I haven't seen a reason to doubt that. I think you'll get 6-7 miles plus whatever is in the existing pack. Its interesting that they've gone for such a low voltage and used a DC-DC converter to get to the prius' 200+ volt pack.
