I too would love a prius. I actually initially rejected them last fall, because I couldn't fit in it comfortably. I have since learned it is possible to modify the chair rails and push the drivers seat back a bit, and that I would probably fit then. However, i'm already comitted to my course. I'll probably put on about a half-a-million km's on my cobalt before it's time for another car. There are a lot of times i think however, i could KILL ANYTHING for mileage if I had a Prius.

I wish you the best of luck in your search. All my research tells me that the Prius is reliable, and that the up front cost is the biggest issue! Get a good deal and enjoy hypermiling it for the both of us.
