Mctimson, sorry it took so long to respond, Had to go to the dentist.
I have not taken the magnets off yet. I am waiting for a time I can keep track of milage and go a meaningful distance. The maxima doesn't have a milage tracker like the altima, so I have to do the fill the tank thing.
