But I ended up with 37.0 by the time I got home, so the remaining 13 miles which was normal got me basically 36.2 which is still a little better than normal.
Attached is a pic of the rear now. Awhile back I added backup lights which I found in a spring cleanup pile.
I did look at taking it a point, but that would have been like another 2 ft longer. I wanted something I could still get through a parking lot, and something I could fold back to access the trunk if needed. It might be something worth trying sometime just for kicks, taping on an extension made out of cardboard. But if I wanted it longer permanently, it would be super easy to just weld an extension on and move the taillights and plate back.
Thanks for the compliments Aerohead.

Congrats on the higher mileage figures! Now the Men-in-black are going to move across the street from you too! I'll be breathing this local 102-degree air a little easier, now that the "Celevette" is bathing in warmer air also, and reflecting it at the pump.Folks on the road will have even more numbers to feast their eyes on if they dare ask me about "EcoModding." It will be big fun to have you in the "portfolio".Thanks for all you do,and for sharing your work with the global community.Look forward to future posts, see ya,Phil.
