What I was suggesting is that you could use transmissions from a 2.3 or a 3.0 as well, they'll bolt up, but they don't quite line up all the holes correctly, but they work.

Maybe a 3.0/3.2 has some lower gears than the 1.9/2.0 does? Maybe even the 1.6 or the diesel 1st gen tranny fits?
