I think the Viva 2 is a 35 psi tire, which to me means it is a "cheaper" tire. The sidewalls aren't as good as a 44 psi tire. That's why they're rated to hold less. I have blown sidewalls out and had tread separate on many 35 psi tires, but never on 44 psi tires. The rears on my Celebrity are still the same tires I bought for the wife at the time back in 2002. I don't drive fast or aggressive, but with Michigan roads I might as well just sit in the driveway and beat the tires with a large sledgehammer, it'd give the same effect but cost less.

If you drive reasonably and your roads are good, you should have no problems.
