But just make sure you have a 12v auxiliary battery, or use the last battery in the series. 3 mosfet/diode pairs would be good for 150 amps, which would probably be enough for the 4.5 hp motor. You might want to go with 4 or 5 of each if you are going to run it at the full 4.5 hp all the time.
