By old, my implication is a distinct lack of features that are more readily available today. Extended memory buffer would be awesome, and being able to utilize High Capacity SD cards. And using my old stock of Pentax mount lenses would give me far more options when imaging... I'm a retired Navy photog, and got into digital imaging back in 94... My camera phone has better resolution (but a crappy lens) than the Kodak DCS200 pro level camera available in 1994.
