I didn't mean to raise them, I meant to put your arms closer to your core. My buddy's CBR1000's bars are adjustable inward/outward for rider comfort.. never tried that specific mod w/ a Ninja 250, just guessed that it could be done, since it can on other bikes.
Yup, they are not clipped onto the fork tubes from the factory. There is only one mount and you cant tweak them without buying clip ons.



Still, it hasn't been a problem for me at 6'1", 185lbs.
