I have to ask: how often do you slide back your moon roof? Removing that deflector would probably have a measurable effect on fuel economy. It affects MPG nearly 100% of the time, but probably only gets used a small fraction of the time.

I slide back the moon roof during city driving quite a bit as well as overcast days on the highway.
I practiced driving with my mirrors folded in on my way back from school (twenty-six miles), and I didn't feel too comfortable about it.
However, I have pumped up my tires and have been driving (at most) ~+5 above the speed limit. Will fill up at the end of the week!
