I have a 2001 Swift 1.3 AT and have two questions; first there are two hoses running from the trans to/from the radiator to cool the ATF, does anyone know which is which or do I start the car with one hose disconnected and blow fluid everywhere? I am installing an inline Trans Fluid Filter and it is directional.

Second; are Auto Transmissions from earlier years (1990-1995) forward compatible to my 2001 ?? If not, are the internals compatible assuming the exterior mounts etc... are different??
