ok I now have a baseline and am SO confused. To set the stage, my grandma accelerates at 2200 rpm to 2600, drives with the ac on at her will (for baseline purposes) and does not coast. Our recent tank was 24.6 mpg ( 177 mi. / 7.2 gallons ). So the question is how did not hypermiling yield BETTER results by .2 mpg (not much but still) than hypermilling??!
