Never posted pics from the small mirror that I threw on (same one everyone else was buying up on ebay). It's basically only useful for backing into spaces or parallel parking. With a re-adjustment it should view the next lane ok.

Forgot to snap pics during the tuft test, but was glad to see the mirror didn't appear to be introducing any major flow disruptions anywhere past 5 or 6 inches downstream.

Today I started on a more ambitious project: Rear diffuser.

Would I really cut up this beautiful rear bumper?

I guess so!

You can see how this version of the VW Jetta bumper valence would end up parachuting fairly badly. My crappy coroplast panel wouldn't stay put, so its time for something more serious.

The spare tire well under the trunk actually bends into an 18 degree angle (!). By my measurements, I'll cut it down to approx 10 degrees, and box out the diffuser properly. I know some would say its too steep... But we'll see what happens.

Not sure about fins. Probably not necessary, but they do look pretty sweet.

There's still time for adjustments to the design, so if anyone has some suggestions I am all ears. Will probably cut my abs sheet tomorrow:

Can't seem to keep these things off the roof though!
