(You could trigger an IMA light doing this. If so, don't panic. Just pull I think the #18 fuse from the inside box (by your left knee), wait 10 secs, and put it back, and you'll be good to go.)
If it does do the quick drop after some amount of normal assist, it's not necessarily a reason not to buy the car, since it can still go for years with the lesser capacity, especially if you drive mostly on the level.
