When the Maxitrip turns off in the heat and does not turn on, do you mean it doesn't turn on by iteself when you turn the key to "on" or start the car? Will the Maxitrip turn on if you press one of the buttons? Or only when it's unplugged and plugged back in?
I've got one, but don't regularly drive a car with a obd2 port so have only tried it out a little bit, and it seems to like going to "sleep" mode pretty often if the engine is not running.
