I've managed to locate a VX powerplant in Boston, but it won't start and the owner doesn't know why. I'm not going to risk it because of the cost of shipping, but I am, however, going to try to buy the transmission off him. If anyone wants his e-mail I can post it for you if you want the engine.

Maybe this isn't the best forum to ask this question (or even the right one, if it isn't, I apologize), but I know Tom or Ben might know this. How much should I pay for one of these transmissions? Its used, with I don't know how many miles on it and the guy wants $200 not including shipping. Also does anyone know one of these transmissions would weigh roughly? or even a link to a site where I could find the weight would be great, for shipping purposes.
