It takes a while to get there, about 15-20 seconds, hard to say exactly, I havent timed it yet. The car has 60 electric kilometers on it so far and going strong.
And btw, I made it to 60km/h today for a short while. The motor in the car gets warm after a 20 min run, but there is no burnt varnish smell like an overheated motor. If anyone is familiar with a standard temp limit that is observed for forklift motors please let me know.
