We're running Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (less than 15ppm). According to Wikipedia (
Ultra-low sulfur diesel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) the Euro IV emissions standard in effect since 2005 required a sulfur level of 50 ppm. So, our ULSD fuel in the States would appear more than sufficient for the 1.2L given that is was meant for a 2000 VW Lupo 3L sold to the European market.
