If you're feeding a family of three on <$2000/yr, you're ... feeding them all roadkill? Living in a log cabin with no internet? Accepting taxpayer money and neglecting to count that as income?
If you make too little money, how can you afford one of these:
SolarShed ? Or a new bicycle, or a dog, etc. I could live on $10k/yr, live well on $20k/yr, and anything beyond that I am happy to save or spend on things that improve the world or my enjoyment of it.
