Crazy like a fox...
Let's see, if a bunch of the ecomodders buy one, and bunch of the people where it gets cold buy one, because EV's don't perform as well in cold climates, and a bunch of the people in rural areas that drive more than 100 miles a day buy one, and if they make it biodiesel compatible, all those crazy biodiesel people buy one, and a few of the motorcycle people are intrigued enough to buy one, and a few of the people who really don't need an SUV wake up and get a brain buy one, and pretty soon you're talking real numbers.
It could happen.
I don't know if I have any prior art laying around, but I had the idea of glider = hypermiler with small diesel engine before the one liter project ever hit the news. They stole it from me.
Or, many people arrived at the logical and unavoidable conclusion of very small frontal areas and very low drag coefficients, all at the same time.
Mine will be unique (I think...) in that it seats 3 in "tandem", which helps with internal volume and luggage when you are solo.
Finest regards,
troy
