Help with materials for air block?

I'm thinking maybe I'll try putting an air block of the top grille of my car. I am planning on using zip ties to hold it to the crossbar in the grille.

Only thing is that I don't want the coroplast rubbing against the paint. Does anyone have any ideas for some foam or rubber to put between them? I would want it to stick to the coroplast and not stick to or damage the paint.
