Loving my new drive: Peugeot 205

Almost 250kg lighter than the newer Peugeot 206, my new drive is a 1990 Peugeot 205 and is putting a smile back on my face when I drive.

The Peugeot 205 is a supermini produced by the French car manufacturer Peugeot between 1983 and 1997. It was declared 'Car of the Decade' by CAR magazine in 1990. Peugeot 205 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

To my surprise, the GR 1.4 5 door model I bought thinking mild mannered family 5 door has the same 75hp engine as some GT Citroen AX.

Just the sheer drivability, cornering and handling and eager 1.4 engine bring adrenaline back to the family car. At 780kg, these multi world rally winning french econobox's really fly around corners. Which to my way of thinking is good for FE

Should still get 55mpgUS @50mph with pulse and glide @60psi
