Hey all,
I heard about this forum from a friend who recently joined, and he said that this was a really good place to come if I wanted to find out how to squeeze more mpg's from my vehicles.
The vehicles I own and drive are a 1998 Camaro (3.8L V6 auto) and a 1997 Blazer 4X4, 4-dr (4.3L V6 auto). The Camaro is actually surprisingly good on gas for what it is (23-25mpg city, 27-34mpg highway - depending on set cruise speed), but the Blazer is...well...a midsized metallic red pig (16-17 mpg, combined city/highway).
I'd really like to get the mileage on the Blazer up. I'd be happy if I could get just 22mpg out of it. Has anyone else on here ever acheived 22+mpg with a 4.3L Blazer/S-10 pickup?
