I'm not sure why Honda won't touch Lifan bikes. I do know that you can find the cross references for just about any part all over the interwebs, though. If you're not sure about it, search on eBay for it. They'll have the interchange listed right in the title most times.

You're not obligated to tell the dealer what you're working on, you just need to know the part number you need, or have the part handy to match it up with. If they ask why it looks like a chinese part, tell them it's just one that you got aftermarket, and you want OEM parts to replace it.

I may not have to get the Lifan key switch, I think I just got one in a bolt-box of CM185T parts. I see the switch in the pics, I'm not sure if I can see a key or not, but it does have the other part I need, the dash cover. For $25, I'm sure I can use some of the stuff in it for something else, if it comes down to it.
