Also, this battery that came with the bike is the most awesome thing, EVER. It went a full winter the first year I had the Ninja, sat for a year without being on a charger, pulled a year tour in my Burgman, which has a higher starting amp draw, then sat for another year, before being charged up and put back into service. It runs my heated gear just fine for a minute at a time while I'm stopped at a light, engine off.  |
I had mentioned something about that previously in the thread i believe. I, too, get noticeable drag while clutch in coasting. I am pretty used to it now, though. The only time i have hit the "neutral" between 5/6 is by accident, and it has only happened two or three times. In the "clutch in coasting" thread, there was mention about modifying the gearbox to allow for real neutral in between gears.
