If that 02 GP SE is geared anything like my 99, then there is little reason to do this. My wife's GP shifts as follows:

1-2: 10~11
2-3: 20~23
TCC lock: 26~28
4th OD: 41

I can drive around at 35 MPH with the TCC locked at 1550 RPM.
