I beat my SE-R's 22 mpg and my Scion's 28 mpg combined mileages by going slower. 70 mph = 26 mpg in the SE-R. 62 mph = 32-34 mpg, and 55 mph = 36-38 mpg.

I know, I drove 58mph between vacaville and fairfield once (in the midmorning- no traffic) I was amazed at the improvement in mileage!!!!!
I tend to look a the whole mileage thing very practically. If I can get 25mpg in an "army tank" and average 65-70 mph......I am a very HAPPY camper.
But this site is definately making me retink some things...
