Weighed the car today

I had alot of old books and paper to drop off today at a collection site. When the guy saw a bunch of boxes, 20-30kg each, he decided I should drive onto the big scale, instead of weighing each box individually. I quickly agreed, since then I'd have an idea of how much the car really weighs. So, the results are:
- Payload = 160kg (352lbs)
- Svietlana = 1300kg (2860lbs)
- Piwoslaw = 5kg too much

Svietlana was weighed without the rear seats (3x20kg) and with less than half a tank of fuel. With the seats installed, she'd be around 1350-1370kg, which is still 100kg less than her official weight (Women - they always lie about their age and weight ). This is good to know, since I used the official weight when calculating Cd and Crr from my coastdown results. I wonder if the difference is worth going through all of those calculations again?

What also makes me wonder is why the official weight is almost 9% larger than the real weight? For me, of course, this is good news knowing that I'm hauling over 100kg less, and that if the need comes, I have an extra 100kg of margin for the payload. That's quite a bit. So where did the weight go? The weight of the removed roof railings is about the same as the rear skirts, and I haven't taken anything else out (except occasionally the rear seats).

Has anyone else weighed their vehicle and got a number so much different from the official figure?
