I'm still wondering what the Cd* is of those old Studebaker's that are in the picture.
They are very popular at Bonneville.

Regarding the styling of the truck, it does look like they were trying to get the truck to 'look' streamlined at least.

I've noticed that ( in America ) big rigs are getting away from the streamlined T2000 look, and are now sporting huge oversize chrome grills, as well as added chrome trim.
It seems like this could be the result of too many pimpin' Chrysler 300s.
Even the dealers are selling their cars with oversize 22" wheels as a result of the pimpin' fad.
The first time that I saw the new Ford Focus with that cheezy chrome trim on the front fender, I thought that the owner stuck it on the car ( like you see with the fake 'air vents' that have suddenly become popular)
I never would have thought that it came factory looking like that.
These cars are going to look so silly in a few years.

I guess even the trucking industry grows tired of a certain look and goes for the latest fads.
