Sorry I didn't spell it out earlier: The more front overhang sticking out there, and the lower it is, the way more likely it is to get scraped off in the real world of driveway approaches, curbs, and whatnot.

Also, there is no aerodynamic need and/or benefit for it to stick out that far anyway so it has more con than pro.
