...back in the day, there was a Sports Car Graphics article about the 1970½ AAR 'Cuda 340/6BBL that showed the rear deck spoiler actually produced a measurable and useful down-force at speeds over about 100 mph.
...similar chin and rear deck spoilers were also used on the Dodge T/A-Challenger 349/6BBL.
