Are you doing a launch at redline,and then letting the clutch progressively lock up over the 1/8-or 1/4 mile? If so,then would it make a difference?
If the engine is throttling down the course,the "efficiency" of a duel-feed 4-barrel Holley/Edelbrock/Carter carb. might be approached with a multi-throttle-body EFI system,allowing,out-of-the-hole low end response and top end power.
Is that kinda what you're asking?
