The Sprint gives a nice advantage in frontal area compared to most, as well as in weight. I think you could clean it up on the front and bottom enough to raise the cruise speed 10% It is too bad that you really want the 2-door to blend into an extended tail, but I think that VW did test a basic bullet shape at .2 cd with a full flat back.
