Check craigslist in your area:
hyundai accent 1.6L Manual 5-7 years old <100,000 miles <$2,000 35-45mpg.
Calculate how much you drive your truck in a year.
Calculate total gas cost per year = Miles per year * MPG * Gas cost (3dollars/gallon) = Dollars per year full time tundra
Now assume 75% of that in the Accent.
Calculate cost = 0.75*Miles per Year * 40mpg * gas cost = dollars per year accent
And 0.25*miles per year * Tundra mpg * gas cost = dollars per year tundra weekends
Add the previous two numbers Dollars per year both = dollars per year accent + dollars per year tundra weekends.
If you save anything like 500 dollars or more a year then get the accent it will pay for itself in less then 4 years.
