Eh... Nope... It runs an entirely own OS... With it's own set of rules from Apple on what they allow you to do and not...
As said, they really don't want you to use the bluetooth or serial communication or any of the other fun stuff... So that's not in the Apple dev-kit...
Doesn't mean you can't get to it though... Just means you need the iPhone to be jailbroken to run the code...
