Drive highway everyday. 110 + miles a day usually, so it gets plenty warm.
This problem bugged me for a week. No indication that water is coming back in. Then it hit me on the way home thinking about it. I bought the car used. The engine compartment was fairly clean. I bet the previous owner pressure washed the engine and that's how the darn water got into the wells. I have been monitoring for water and have seen no sign of it again. Will still monitor to see what happens.
