The concept is simple...just a spring put on the throttle linkage with some adjustable slack so the extra resistance doesn't occur until you have some throttle movement. This is specific to a Tercel 3AC manual....no way to get another pic due to limited access...would look just the same.

In the pic the throttle linkage moves UP as it opens...the "ball" thingie is on the throttle shaft.

The idea works on any engine with a throttle linkage. The old screen door springs are about the right "pull"...can't be too strong or too weak...around a 5" length to allow needed movement. I also had this on a Nissan V6 auto...worked real well.
