My thinking was that it injects fuel based on the amount of air based on the map sensor reading and restricting flow will alter this. But if it just injects fuel regardless of air flow then it would be a waste. I do know if I fool it to think that it is getting a lower map value it injects less fuel and higher map value it injects more fuel..........Just an idea..........
