Diagnostics at some facilities is basically hanging expensive parts until the car is fixed or the customer's wallet is dry. Most times it is the latter.

The Toyota dealer network (local) and
Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicle PHEV(out of state/Indiana) are the current alternatives for Inverter(sales/repair/test/svc).
The 04Slvg Prius has no cosmetic damage however undercarriage has not been viewed yet. The salvage yard aka copart auction listed the vehcile for Allstate Insurance which inturn listed for third party. Allstate inspection stated BAD INVERTER/BAD INJECTOR.
