Ooooh yay, these threads are always fun, especially looking back at previous years.
Last year my goals were 45 mpg 90 day average tank in my Toyota Matrix. In a way I suppose I achieved this. The Matrix was replaced by the Prius which averaged about 55 mpg all summer long.
2010 Prius goal: 60 mpg 90 day average in summer. This shouldn't prove too difficult providing the phev kit works out well and I can get some controls in place to automate things.
Mods I'm considering:
LRR tires
improved underbody paneling
solar panel for charging phev
automated grill block
Last years goal for the Paseo was to reach 60 mpg 90 day average. This was pretty easy to achieve and I easily held 60+ mpg all summer long.
2010 Paseo goal: Better than 65 mpg 90 day average in summer and at least one 75+ mpg tank. It'll take some good mods to get me up there. I just barely hit 70 mpg last summer.
Mods I'm considering:
solar roof charger (semi done)
controlled EGR flow
underbody paneling
automated grill block
There is still lots to be done on both cars, so the list of possible mods is almost never ending. I change my mind so much though, just ask Darin.
