EM Garage statistics

So how are we and our cars doing as a whole? I calculated some statistics on all the 193 vehicles in the EM Garage today (except "Electric Cycle", which is way off the charts in a class of its own, which would distort the statistics-- but good job, bennelson!)
Here are the main results:

Here is a histogram (distribution plot; how many in each range of values) of the EPA ratings (maroon bars) and our 90-day average MPG (blue bars).
The EPA ratings range from 12 to 60 mpg, with a median (middle) value of 25 and mean (average) of 28.2 mpg. (The median is less susceptible than the mean to being distorted by outliers.)
Our actual fuel efficiencies range from 15 to 97 mpg, median 29.9, mean 33.8.

The next histogram shows how much we're beating the EPA figures by in percent: range -28 to +86%, median 14.4%, mean 18.1%.

So keep up the good work, everybody!
