VW solid liefter H2O cooled parts/tools for sale
Hello everyone,
I used to own (3) VW Rabbit diesels and even a Jetta 1 GLI. That was a great car! I was cleaning out my toolbox the other day and realized I still have several things left from those days. I have not owned a VW since 2002!
Up for sale is a genuine "G" grind camshaft, good for 8-10 hp on the solid lifter engines. ($60--Techtonics Tuning sells it for $130!) I used it for about 20k miles then sold the car.
I have some genuine Repco MetalMaster brake pads for the front discs (D542mm). ($15) Brand new in the box and shrink wrap! They are for 9.4 inch rotors I think.
I have a set of RTE head studs for an early diesel (11x1.5). ($60--over $100 new) Never used, still in the original packaging with a thread tap. I also have a diesel injection pump dial indicator, and two (2) injection pump pulley lock pins. ($40)
I have a complete valve shim kit and the spring compressor and the tools to remove shims on the early and later model solid lifter heads. ($200--I do not want think about how much this was)
I also have a Digifant injector removal tool (use it with a screwdriver) to pull the injectors to change Oring seals. ($5)
I also have a couple of Bentley manuals if anyone is interested. One for the 82-86 Quantum, and one for the 77-84 Rabbit/Jetta/Scirroco. $15 each.
I have a factory lug wrench, a pair of A1 swaybar mounts (under body), but not the little clips to hold the bar in place, and a small plastic divider box full of misc A1 chassis hardware, and a couple of exhaust gaskets. Best offer on these items...
Last, for you VW nuts out there, a 10" (I think) diameter VW sign with the protective plastic sheet still on the face. I will ship the VW sign for the cost of shipping!
Everything else, buyer pays shipping. Thanks for looking. I would prefer to use Paypal. Shoot me any PMs. Thanks, Dave
Nuts, my pix are too big. Well, I will try to post in a moment...
Okay, had to switch OSes in order to find the right editing program. Let's try this.
