newbie monkeywrench

Hi folks. This is a great site & I love the premise.
I'm an environmental educator who cleans Missouri's rivers & streams with Missouri Stream Team (google which if the urls don't show).
I also recently became the proud owner of a 1991 Subaru Legacy wagon that leaked oil such that MPG became QPM (quarts per mile- oh well, reduce, reuse, recycle and REPAIR).
These two identities conflicted, since oil on the roads & highways winds up in the streams; so I've been fixing the oil seals & replacing gaskets.
After I stop these femoral gushers, I'll be adding: MPGuino (bless you, open source community), some additional sensors (interested in oil temp, fuel temp & engine temp correlation to mpg efficiency), some display mods (for helping me find the driving efficiency zone), and continuing to strip useless weight. I'm looking for work in the St. Louis area as my old careers seem to have dried up & blown to the winds. Oh, I'm on FaceBook, but I don't PM or IM or ICQ etc. Peace in our time. REALLY.
