My readout (car readout) says i'm doing 30.8 mpg. I don't have a scanguage.
I worked it out as:
£22.55 spent
£1.08.9 per litre
20.7070707 litres
20.7 litres / 4.54609188 (UK imperial gallon)
= 4.55491689 gallons
200 miles / 4.5 gallons = 44.4444444 mpg
Working it out in US gallons appears to be a bit worse though - only 36/7 mpg. Oh well, either way it's a definite improvement.
