I bet you can't, and it's been covered earlier in the thread, so 3.08's it is.
It took couple of weeks to track down an 8.8 with 2.73 gears that was rebuild with new clutches for my mustang when my 7.5 rear decided to brake one of the spider gears. I paid less money for 8.8 than 7.5 was going to cost me to fix. I found a lot of them with 3.55 and 3.27 gears, there were couple of 3.08s and few 2.73. 3.27 was the most common though.
